Guidelines for Track & Trace Service Providers on ESG Data Declaration, Exchange, and Aggregation Version 1.0

Publications

The GBA is pleased to publish the first draft of "Guidelines for Track & Trace Service Providers on ESG Data Declaration, Exchange, and Aggregation Version 1.0." for general information. As the GBA is launching wave two battery passport pilots, these guidelines will serve participating companies and the GBA to assess data aggregation and exchange strategies using GHG emissions, reported according to the GBA’s Greenhouse Gas rulebook as an example.

A separate set of conformance criteria for the Phase II pilots is being developed with the GBA’s Track & Trace working group. Since these guidelines and conformance criteria are for testing purposes only, participating companies are not yet expected to be fully compliant with all criteria.  The GBA expects to update the guidelines after the completion of wave two pilots, after which structured feedback may be solicited from relevant stakeholders.
