Following the MoU signed between the GBA and CCCMC in March 2026, this joint webinar will bring together the GBA Battery Passport sustainability certification and CCCMC’s guidelines for supply-chain due diligence and ESG performance.
CCCMC, the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters, is a national industry organisation representing companies across the metals, minerals and chemicals sectors and related supply chains.
The session will explore how these complementary initiatives can support battery supply-chain companies in China and internationally to meet global market and client expectations and prepare for the EU Batteries Regulation requirements on due diligence, carbon footprint and traceability.
From Regulation to Readiness: Battery Passports for Solar and Energy Storage

The Global Battery Alliance, Global Solar Council and Solar Stewardship Initiative will convene a joint webinar for members and the wider solar and energy-storage ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.
As solar PV and battery energy storage become increasingly interconnected, the session will explore growing expectations around responsible sourcing, traceability, ESG performance and independent assurance, drawing on lessons from the GBA Battery Passport Operational Trials and SSI’s experience across the solar PV value chain.
The webinar will also explore what manufacturers, developers, BESS providers and buyers need from sustainability and traceability frameworks, and opportunities for greater alignment and interoperability across solar and battery value chains.
