GBA at the OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains

The GBA will host a partner-led session at the OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains in Paris, France, on 23 May from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Auditorium on “Bridging the Cooperation Gap in Critical Battery Minerals: harmonising sustainability data across the value chain.”

Building on the Critical Minerals Advisory Group’s work over the last six months and our ongoing efforts on the Battery Passport, this session brings together stakeholders for a unique dialogue on the levers and opportunities for addressing the most pressing bottlenecks to scaling responsible and circular critical battery minerals supply. The session speakers, including policymakers and GBA members from countries with a significant battery value chain footprint, will share their views on the GBA’s call to action for policymakers to create and use harmonised data to foster consensus and cooperation across jurisdictions, stakeholders and the value chain. This session creates a platform for charting the way forward for collective action.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Global Battery Alliance (GBA) will be held in China on November 5-7, with the main programme in Shangai and a site visit to Ningde.
